dc.description.abstract | Ultrafine precursor powder of YBa 2Cu 3O 7-δ was prepared via co-precipitation method. Synthesis route is developed by saturated solution of metal acetates and 2-isopropanol solution of oxalic acid. The thermal treatment (24 hrs calcinations at 920°C, 24 hrs sintering at 920°C) gives a superconductor YBa 2Cu 3O 7-δ with a transition temperature at 90 K. These ultrafine powders can be useful in wide application especially in fabricating high temperature superconductor tape. © 2008 American Institute of Physics. | |
