Title: | Cold neutron radiography by CCD camera at Malaysia Nuclear Agency's TRIGA MARK II Malaysia research reactor: First attempt | Authors: | Zin, M.R.M. Muhamad, A. Mohamad, A.A. Jamro, R. |
Issue Date: | 2008 | Abstract: | This paper describes a cold neutron radiography experiment using a charge coupled device camera and was conducted at the Malaysian Nuclear Agency's TRIGA MARK II Research reactor. The test has been performed on filtered and reflected neutrons through a cooled poly-crystal Beryllium filter and Highly Oriented Purity Graphite (HOPG). The aim of this test was to see how the CCD camera, image grabber and image acquisition could play their roles in the cold neutron radiography imaging technique which has been developed. The exposures have been made on the Gadolinium foil and on some other samples as well in order to characterise the system. The result obtained from analysis shows the system has a reasonable and significant resolution. | URI: | http://dspace.uniten.edu.my/jspui/handle/123456789/7934 |
