dc.description.abstract | Knowledge seeking and knowledge sharing is essential in online communities to help facilitates better flow of knowledge between organizations and customers. It allow individuals to share expertise with others, foster new approaches to solve problems, encourage innovation, and consistently regenerate and re-conceptualize current knowledge. One of the area in which the knowledge seeking and sharing is important is healthcare, which is lack of appreciative. However, evidence suggests that understanding knowledge seeking and knowledge contributing aspects of knowledge sharing is important to sustain the usability of online communities as knowledge management system in most areas especially healthcare. This paper will look into the knowledge seeking behavior in healthcare environment, and how the environment setting is capable to embrace the behavior in the future. © 2016 International Information Institute. | |
