Issue Date: | 2019 | Abstract: | The manufacturing sector faces sustainability issues which lead to negative consequences to the economic, environment and social sustainability performance of the sector. Cleaner production and resource efficiency which involve the use of green technology is one of the important green practices in achieving corporate sustainability performance. The objective of this study is to examine the effects of cleaner production and resource efficiency on corporate sustainability performance with the moderating role of organisational size. Drawing data from 130 Malaysian chemical manufacturing organisations, the model studies the moderating role of organisation size on cleaner production and resource efficiency and corporate sustainable performance of the organisations. The data are analysed using partial least square (PLS) analysis. The results suggest that cleaner production and resource efficiency are positively related to corporate sustainability performance. The findings also indicate that organisation size moderates the effect of cleaner production and resource efficiency on corporate sustainability performance.
