Title: The influence of total quality management and knowledge management on business results

Abstract: The management of knowledge in businesses is an important and necessary factor for organizational survival in today's uncertain environment. Organizations need a total quality management approach that views knowledge as a potential source for competitive advantage. Total quality management and knowledge management are both work process and they are complementary to each other. This study examines an integration of total quality management and knowledge management and its influence on business results. Survey questionnaires were distributed to managers of government-linked companies. A series of regression analysis were used to test the hypotheses in the study. Analyses show that knowledge management helps to enhance total quality management's critical factors to improve business results. Report shows that a combination of total quality management and knowledge management forms a cycle of improvement and development that lead to organizational excellence.
